Oil drilling from modular barges in south Sudan in the swamps of the White Nile river

This paper explains how the company Dietswell drilled several wells in the swamps located in South Sudan on the White Nile River. The customer was WNPOC, a consortium of oil operating companies where the Malaysian company PETRONAS was assigned the operatorship. The operations were carried out during 2007 and 2008 with a brand new hydraulic drilling rig designed and built in France by Dietswell.
