While studies and developments for dual fuel diesel engines are in progress, propulsion for L.NG ships is still today achieved with steam turbines and boilers.

Steam production is traditionally achieved by steam boilers, however experience and improvements coming from years of experience in stationary plants is today applied in marine boilers.

Association with sophisticated control system and reliable equipments give them today an improved flexibility compared to previous ships
