Stability operating manuals for passenger ships, fishing ships

This paper aims to introduce the standard forms of Stability Operating Manual set up for the French Ministère Délégué Chargé de la Mer.

This "Operating Manual", required to new ships, de scribes the ship's stability characteristics in a synthetic way.

Thanks to this document, the crew will be able to assess, easily enough, the safety margin of the ship.

Two forms are presented :

- the first one dedicated to passenger vessels

- the second one dedicated to fishing vessels.
