BEST WISHES FROM THE PRESIDENT

The year 2025 has been, for the ATMA, fruitful in events. The first one, the colloquium on drones held on April 7th, organised in cooperation with the French Maritime Cluster, the GICAN and the French marine academy, has been successful gathering more than 160 participants in the Industry Hotel in Paris. Our annual October conference has been extended by half a day due to the high number of high quality paper proposals. Our best end of maritime studies competition is now well known and raises a clear interest in various French high school.

The number of memberships has increased in 2024, we received in 2025 new intentions which, I hope, will be concretized soon.

Therefore, the ATMA has recovered the way of increase after hard years which we had known during a too long time. I renew my thanks the professional associations, CMF, GICAN and French marine academy for their support. I don't resist to the pleasure to remember that the CEMT attributed in 2025 its annual award to our General secretary Régis Beaugrand. This award will be deliverd to him on February 3rd in Marseilles during the Euromaritime exhibition and I invite those who will be able to come to share this moment with us.

In the meantime, I which you and at all those dear to you an happy new year 2016.
